About Creative Director Tendayi
After an incredible decade in live-action, where she wrote and produced award-winning multi-genre projects that captured global attention, Tendayi Nyeke made an exciting leap into the world of animation!
As a development at the renowned Triggerfish Animation Studios, she’s been at the helm of creating a vibrant array of shorts, series, and feature films for major global platforms. One of her proudest achievements is serving as supervising producer for Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. This groundbreaking pan-African animated sci-fi anthology premiered on Disney+ in 2023, where over 15 talented directors bring their visionary short films to life.
Her feature film, Tribe, recently won the Animation Production Days Award at the Oscar Qualifying Film Festival, the Durban Film Mart (2025).
This follows a successful pitch at the iconic Annecy Animation Festival, where the film gained prestigious recognition as part of the official MIFA 2022 selection and was featured by Cartoon Brew as "one of the top 5 films in development to watch!"
Currently, Tendayi is developing an animated feature film at a global streamer. Her live action romantic-comedy feature "Loved Out" which she wrote, directed and produced, releases in South African, Zimbabwean and Zambian cinemas in 2025 ahead of a world wide digital release.
With a deep passion for the intersection of art and business, Tendayi holds an MBA in Music and Creative Industries from Henley Business School. Her dream? To amplify voices around the globe, celebrating the joy and beauty that unite us all!

Indlela Yokuphila: Soul's Journey (2023) Consultant "This beautiful film contributes to expanding ways to articulate an aspect of what contributes to our identity. Indlela Yokuphila is a gorgeous and thoughtful celebration of specific African spiritual values and their intersection with the wider world. Even though I am from a different ethnic group, as an African woman and filmmaker who has had history written for me, this film touched me because it invites the world to see me the way I see myself - as a person that comes from a rich, bedautiful heritage that everyone can learn from." - Tendayi
